Day 7, Sept 26th

Up nice and early today for my interview. Interview was at 10 so got up at 8ish. That's a good 4 hours sleep I got for myself. Plenty. Wanted to go a bit early today as I needed to get the subway which I hadn't used yet. Turns out its super easy. There's only 2 main routes which bring you around the whole city so its hard to get the wrong one. Had the interview which went fine, even though I didn't really like the guy doing the interviews. Money's crap and I still need to get a few docs sorted for them so i'll def keep looking for other jobs.

After the interview I went back to the hostel for a nap for a couple of hours. When I arose I started looking online again for more work. Applied to quite a few more recruitment agencies. Over here you're supposed to upload your resume and then ring them a few days later to kick them into gear.

Spent the rest of the evening in the hostel chatting away to anyone and everyone. Met a new room mate of mine too. Tac from Japan. Cool guy. Used be a professional snow boarder back in Japan and New Zealand. He's a car designer for Toyota back in Japan now. Had a few drinks over games of pool with himself and Fiona. We also met this crazy old fella who spent the night telling Irish "jokes". He wanted us to come up north to work on his farm. Fat chance of that. He prob has a few dead bodies buried out the back. Things are finally starting to quieten down a bit so made it to bed for 3, which was nice for a change.

They've loadsa squirrel's over here. One snuck into the hostel and caused a bit of chaos. Funny.
